About The Artwork
This piece was inspired by the biodiversity of island chains. A nod to the surreal artists of the 20th century. Root vegetables and the cosmos exhibit a playful role in the piece as well. I enjoy the fluidity and textural quality possible through watercolor. The ink adds finishing touches.
