Marimekko started the 60´s design boom with their bold and colorful fabrics. For Armi design was democracy - design can be a part of any home, regardless of status or income. Marimekko gained global recognition and its iconic fame when Jackie Kennedy wore Marimekko clothing. I paint iconic people and topics that have had an impact on me or our society.
