This painting was inspired by a box of old pinup magazines I found behind an art gallery. By adding color and text on the pages of these old magazines it becomes a colorful and fun composition. The text “art is in” is a play on words that can be read as, art is in or art is sin. The whole piece is covered in a thick layer of clear resin that gives it a clean modern look and protects the paper.
