Our minds drift and we imagine being on the beach somewhere, a cool ocean breeze, dappled light and dancing drapes. To be elsewhere, away from the chaos my my lover... It has been a very hot Summer. The studios have been warmer and the idea of removing one’s clothing seems to be at least one way of escaping some of the heat. The models that pose for me are my friends and very few of them have posed nude before. Most come to sit for me because they love art and want to contribute to my work. I like to let the models choose their own poses and by doing so the imagery is different and more natural. I believe in letting my sitters be themselves. This work of art is done on 2 inch deep hand stretched canvas. The edges have been painted black. The painting is created in professional quality oil paints. The work is signed. I provide a certificate of authenticity.
