About The Artwork
This oil landscape painting is one I began on location in Forest Park with a group of friends called the Missouri Plein Air Painters Association. They go out to paint almost every Sunday morning at different locations in the Metro St Louis area and beyond. It was a difficult painting to do while, standing on a bridge, in full sun with temperatures in the high 90’s. My only shade was that of an umbrella that kept blowing around. It is a favorite of mine and sold to a nice woman at another plein air event in Louisiana, MO.
