About The Artwork
This painting was made to celebrate the beauty of the flora and fauna of my hometown. Serbia has a rich birdlife and one of them is the black stork (Ciconia nigra). They are shy creatures, mainly hiding in forests away from humans. Through this painting, we can get a glimpse of the moment when they approach the pond surrounded by White poplars (Populus alba).
