This is my interpretation of tulips, inspired by vivid colours of VanGogh. Well, actually - these are my "sunflowers" - there is only this one now, the mother, the pattern...but there will be others, the same but slightly different. I wanted to get the colour contrasts and light shining from behind the painting. And more importantly, I love dying tulips...there is something absolutely captivating in them...like the end of summer, or last light of sunset. My crazy colourful tulips... It was a sheer joy painting this piece. Greetings from a Loving Vincent painter. We really are in love with our master :) Daria It will bring colour and joy into any interior.

Artist statement: My art comments the world of the 21st century. I am interested in modern technologies and their impact on mankind. I love science and follow the latest discoveries. I am watchfully observing the recently resurrected space race. The computer is my faithful friend that I know, understand and respect. My protagonists think by means of algorithms. For me human is an endangered species, and the current Superman is called Elon Musk. I like precision, cleanliness and clarity of the message. I'm not romantic, I'm emphatic. This is not painting from the world of our grandparents, you are looking at art from the world of your grandchildren. And a bit of my biography. I am a Polish artist living and working in Lodz, Poland, member of ZPAP - Polish Association of Professional Artists, painter from the Oscar niminated "Loving Vincent" film - world's first fully painted feature film produced by Breakthru Films and directed by Dorota Kobiela. Main theme is humans vs. technology. Favourite media: oil on canvas, watercolour pencils.
