Broth 20 Print

After 15 years as a widely published beauty photographer, I suddenly started getting distinct painted compositions pop up in my head at moments of strong emotions. This phenomenon is what’s brought me here. Although inspired by luxury and design, my work is impetuous and deeply personal, where among chaotic strokes I take time to meditate over the process and harmony. I’m a synesthete. I did photography, music and writing, sometimes combining them into some kind of "inner multimedia project". I enjoy the way my visuals that once were flat digitals, are now breathing through handmade works that are alive in their organic textures and ardent marks. I love combining rich textures with minimalist geometry to celebrate the Aristotelian mimesis of Art imitating Nature. Even the darkest pieces are created in the same sunny big-eyed studio that’s witnessed countless beautiful smiles and striking poses when I was shooting fashion there. I live and work with my lovely family around. I love painting during rain.
