The photo shows a 7 days old child. He's safe. I illustrated it in the form of a fabric that covers his body. This work is a contradiction. I want to demonstrate the state of motherhood in society. Often a family wants to share with the world that they are now parents by showing the baby and covering the baby’s face with an apple smiley face. They want to show what they are hiding. I have nothing against that. I myself consist of contradictions. The topic of my research is newbornness. And this "hidden" factor is the biggest contradiction of it all. But if I distance myself from the problem, I want to show this baby as a person who comes into the world in a "package" with his head full of bright precious ideas and thoughts. I applied paint and patal with my hands. In this series, I use only my body to apply paint.
