"But You Look So Pretty" explores the idea of hidden illness. I've lived with Crohn's Disease for a decade. It's an incredibly difficult illness that has no cure, and yet it's completely invisible to the naked eye. Most people assume I'm healthy based on how I look, but on the inside, I feel like I'm rotting away. This painting has vivid blues and greens that tell a somber story of living with Crohn's. *this work comes with wire attached and is ready to hang.
