ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This stretch of the Oregon coast was made popular by the movie, "The Goonies", but it has merits far beyond those bestowed by popular culture. The haystack rocks dotting the shore have been captured by artists, both painters and photographers, for hundreds of years and so I humbly submit my own. As a lover of color I had to do it my way. I tried to incorporate the personalities of the people I met in the Pacific North West...vibrant, colorful, and loving life.
