About The Artwork

Sunny quiet morning in Cape May, New Jersey. The building in the painting is Denizot's Ocean View House, one of the historical Victorian buildings the town is known for, built in 1878. This building was built by Victor Denizot shortly after his two hundred feet of his pier were burned in the Great Inferno of 1878.
