About The Artwork
Slowing down the routine of a circus performer so that drawings can be made. Super fit model, unusual setting, weight of model in an unusual place. Finding comfortable poses that can be held for a few minutes, making sketches, making paintings from sketches. I painted it in acrylics, so it would be dry and ready for the deadline of being taken away for a touring group show of aerial art. This painting has been exhibited at the Rogues Gallery outside the circus areas of several British festivals. It has been varnished and is in perfect condition.
