About The Artwork

In this painting, the longing for home, for the native land, and at the same time love for one's native and such a beautiful Motherland can be traced again. There is also a love subtext here. What do you see: the bird flew out of the cage or is it going to sit down? What does a cage mean to you: is it a comfortable comfort or a limitation. Or did you see other certain meanings? I also really wanted to depict a stork. The stork is a symbol of loyalty, happiness, well-being, a living symbol of Ukraine. The stork is a symbol of love for your father and mother, who blessed you into the world, and therefore it is also a symbol of family well-being, love for your native land, the Motherland. And at home we have amazing fields of sunflowers. Sunflower is a symbol of the Sun, work and abundance, strength and well-being. The sunflower is one of the symbols of Ukraine, because it symbolizes the Motherland: just as a sunflower turns its head to the Sun, so a person turns to his Motherland in thought, word and deed. Just as the Sun is the only and irreplaceable reference point for a sunflower, the Motherland is a great value for a person.

Natalya was born in 1988 in the small town of Semenivka, Chernihiv region in Ukraine. Since childhood, she loved to draw and showed herself creatively in every way. In 2013, she attended a series of master classes on various painting techniques and since then fell in love with oil painting. At first, I tried to paint in different genres, but I realized that I like painting pictures depicting female fantasy portraits the most. In total, since 2013, she has painted more than 40 paintings. Currently, in connection with the war in Ukraine, I live in Cyprus, where I continue to paint new pictures
