About The Artwork
I believe we all can relate to a point in our lives where we felt trapped and stuck between the fine strings of turmoils that life throws at us. One might wonder where to head from here, to the sulking valley of tears or to buckle up and stare at challenge, right in the eye. The duality of human mind is represented here with the two faces as I myself felt drawn to the subject while painting it. I felt this would have remained incomplete with the lack of a raven which symbolizes 'Rebirth'. Surely with each life changing hardship, a part of us dies and another part is reborn to take its place. I hope this reminds the viewers that we always have a choice to look at hardships as something that builds our character and after every pain, there is rebirth of self.
