About The Artwork

The desire of being free derives from the bound and constrained situations those we use to face each day. Dhaka, the city where I have grown up; has aroused my thirst for freedom as I have confronted numerous obstacles here from the very beginning of my childhood. These obstacles actually are paving my ways of thinking free and reminds me of my ultimate uniqueness. Sometimes I ask myself a lot and sometimes I do not. Numbers of happenings pursue me which I can see everyday while walking through the roads. In tormenting traffic jam, in a relaxing room, or in a casual gossiping with friends I come to face numerous thoughts of mine which uniquely contains my self estimations. In these thoughts I feel pain, joy, struggle and moreover a silent and cold competition. Whenever I try to find the roots of all these tangling feelings it ejaculates my self centralism. The very common human intention is to discover thyself among everything in the visible world, for which sometimes I imagine the society by myself. Social obligations and it’s influences provoke me to draw on and on where I try to explain my feelings in a bit allegorical presentation. These are not precisely the direct reactions of facing the daily happenings; rather I draw my deep routed inner melancholy gestures where the thoughts of pain and death are juxtaposed. I have not come to die in the war of this vulgar society. I am just a powerless visual interpreter who can even destroy the whole world in a moment relentlessly if he could have had the ultimate power. Human nature is in fact to build the visible world as his very own perceptions.
