We are often silent, afraid to say too much, to be misunderstood, to receive punishment, to lose something or someone. We are silent instead of expressing dissatisfaction, and gradually we get used to being silent. The unpleasantness becomes the norm. We are criticized, ignored, overwhelmed with additional work, burdened with householding, forced to make decisions that we do not want to make. They don't want to listen and hear us. And we ourselves, without realizing it, humble ourselves and keep silent. We do what we do not want and are silent. We don't want to be in conflict. After all, we value peace. And it is no longer important that this situation concerns ordinary everyday problems in the family or the life of an entire country. Because of being shackled by silence, we stay silent and put up with our role as submissive and uncomplaining. We are chained hand and foot by silence, but it leads to despair. The painting 'eMotions. Silence' is one of the 'eMotions' series. High-quality paints and linen canvas are guaranteed. Paper collage was also used. The piece is shipped rolled up but there is an option to ship it stretched. Please contact the gallery.

Denmark
Eleonora Taranova was born in 1971, in Ukraine. Fleeing the war, she appeared in Denmark where she is based now. As a child, Eleonora lived in a house with animals and observed their behavior. She learned to portray the emotions and movements of pets on her own since there was no art school in the town. After working as a teacher at a higher school for over 20 years, she quit her job for health reasons and took up painting as a hobby. Now she works as a full-time artist. As the main topic of her art, she has chosen animals for the last 13 years. Inspired by the rock carvings' coloristic and the works of Rembrandt, Francis Bacon, Mikhail Vrubel, Franz Mark, Eleonora tries to bring the idea of empathy and respect to a living being.
