About The Artwork
In this painting, my main source of inspiration was the myth of Europa and as well I was inspired by Leonardo’s sketches of churches. There are some personages too from the Sistine Chapel which inspired me and transported my visions in this artwork. This painting is an ode to our continent, Europe, through it trying to reflect the idea of the beauty of our European arts and our culture. The image of the woman in my painting is an epitome of freedom and the painting is just a representation of one of my visions. Everyone can understand whatever she or he will want to understand from my artwork. It is an oil painting on linen canvas and will be exposed in Paris, in National Museum, at Grand Palais in the mouth of February.
