Fish Larvae 4 Print

From the Zooplankton series. "Fish Larvae 4" is from a series of zooplankton paintings based upon photographs made by scientists using microscope cameras. The backgrounds of the photographs are natural or artificial, varying by the scientists’ choices for display. In practice. In this piece, the ground was a centimeter scale and the measuring marks could be seen through the transparency of the larva. A large piece of dust or hair and bubbles were also in the photograph, along with water ripples apparent on the colors of the graphics of the otherwise white measuring surface. Thinking I need another element to this composition, I added a blind spot test pattern, the red square and blue circle at each side of the canvas.
