I love the culture of Spain and its traditions and especially the passion, drama and colour of the Flamenco dance, this is the well known Flamenco dancer Emanuela Carrasco. I hope the viewers can feel the dancer's passion and spirit. Painting the subject of people, their culture and traditions is my passion! The painting is framed and ready for hanging.

As a child my grandmother told me about the artist Auguste Milliere who painted her mother, she called him Uncle Milliere and told me that his small finger nail was very long, which he used when he painted. I use to visit her and the first thing I always did was gaze at the painting, I was fascinated by it. Later in life when she died, I discovered that Uncle Milliere was really her father! In my late 30's while going though a tough time I stated painting and discovered that it came easy to me, whether it is genetic or not I will never know but I paint portraits just like Uncle Milliere! I am self taught, I love colour and people, when I am painting it is like meditation for me, nothing else enters my mind.
