About The Artwork

In each tourist region there are recognizable places - those where visiting guests take memorable photos. I think everyone who has been to Montenegro has a photo with a view of the island of Sveti Stefan or the embankment in Perast. One of such spectacular places is the fortress in Petrovac, a small cozy town on the Adriatic coast. I live close to Petrovac and often use the beautiful scenes of the surrounding nature in my paintings. And every time I'm here, I can't help but be amazed. The sun shines brightly in the water, reflecting with jubilant glare. The mountains slope down to the sea beautifully, like in a manual on aerial perspective. The trees carefully bend over the shore, sheltering from the scorching sun. And the graceful fortress, located on a winding rock, proudly poses for admiring spectators. The painting was created in a stretched canvas with the painting continued around the edges of the artwork. The painting is ready to hang, no frame need.

Art has always been present in my life, and I chose a creative profession - an architect. At university, we spent many hours in art classes, developing our skills at painting, drawing and composition. After graduating, I worked as an interior designer for many years, and I adored my job.I lived and worked in Russia, but I always dreamed of living near a southern sea. And my dream came true, two years ago I moved to Montenegro. Now the first thing I see when I wake up in the morning is a blue sea framed by cypresses and olives. Beautiful nature and fantastic views of the Adriatic coast inspired me to return to painting. I hope that I managed to express in my painting all my admiration, my delight, my emotions, and that they will bring the joyful Mediterranean atmosphere into your home.
