About The Artwork

Grapes and a snake Bulgarian folk tale One man had a beautiful vineyard. Near the vineyard was a pile of stones where a large snake lived. Once a grower saw a snake and decided to do her good. He took a mug of fresh milk, brought it, put it near the stones and stood at a distance - he wanted to see what would happen. The snake got out, drank milk and dropped one gold into the mug. The vintner took the mug of gold and left for himself. Since then, he has been carrying milk snakes every morning and picking up one gold each. They have been friends for so many years. One of the growers called his son, the future owner, and told him about a snake that had been feeding him milk. The son began to carry milk and collect gold. One day he thought, “There must be a lot of gold in that pile; it is better to kill a snake, break a pile and pick up gold rather than carry milk and feed that snake. " So thinking, he took the stick and carried the snake milk. When the snake drank milk, the guy swung and hit it hard, but could not kill, only knocked off a piece of tail. The snake got angry and bit the guy. He was swollen and barely reached home. His father asked him what had happened. The son told everything as it was and died a few days later. It took a long time and somehow the grower came to the same pile of stones. A snake came out as well. The husbandman tells her: - Let's make friends again, as they used to be friends. And the serpent answered him: - Man, a former friendship cannot be restored. As long as you see the son's grave and I have my reflected tail, we cannot become friends. When you do something, think about the consequences.

I was born in the village Nahoryany, near Dubno, Ukraine. Live in Dubno all my life. .I work in different styles and genres using oil and aquarelle paints, gouache, and also make graphics. Mostly my works are book illustrations. How do i draw my drawings? I make grimaces near the mirror when looking for a needed emotion. I love silence. Like working in the night when the city is asleep. I strive to create expressive images, convey emotions, human behavior. Also I love and paint nature: landscapes, flowers. It is important for me to know that one can find interest in my works, so that I would know my work was not in vain.
