About The Artwork

"A man is sitting outside the balcony, cleaning green beans on hot afternoon during the summer, in South Italy. Outdoor life is spent on the balconies in any building. That's the way people live, enjoying the silence, without rush, without stress: pure, simple life. it's the secret to live longer. ps: the man on the balcony used to live in front of my parent's house. My mum once told me he is a painter himself. Curious". original monotype "There is beauty that I recognize by definition, by an academic perspective, something eternal, static, like rocks or trees. This kind of beauty is built as dogma that stands forever without leaving space to the doubt. In this case beauty can easily become a cage in which art ends up captive. There is also another kind of beauty, perceived as a late, secondary thought. This beauty doesn't stand as a giant itself, but instead it's made of millions of flashbacks, glimpses of soul that keep my passions alive. My art try to stand for this kind of beauty, that manifests itself through daily gestures, familiar places, tiny serious moments of existence: wake up, wash, dress, eat, drive the car, holding the phone, texting, eating take away, driving the car, undress, going to bed. Beauty is noisy, beauty hurts, beauty smells, beauty make us cry, angry, happy, hopeful, hopeless. If I could watch my life as I watch a movie, I'd notice an hidden treasure within: thousands of unique snapshots that gets along to each other by sublime fluidity. That's the true poetry in which I try to figure out my art and also my existence. Everyday I search for art through little gems hidden behind the mysterious beauty of time and space. Believing in the idea that art is life, that would manifest exactly like that: a series of emotions that take us through a long, unique journey. Art can be a couple of lenses to look through and see things and ideas under different perspective, but art will never separate from my psychophysical experience and its consequent, emotional response. My art do not want to represent, my art want to tell something about life, ordinary life. I hope." "My artworks are made using printing technique mixed with other media such as oil pastels, acrylics, water colors, liquid ink pens, pencils on paper, canvas, wood, fabrics. Each single work is made with the same intensity, dedication, effort, commitment, passion and love. Each work is made covering the surface, millimeter by millimeter, with no rush and lots of patience. I touch and retouch the surface many times with my pens and brushes, making sure the artwork has its right composition of colors, shapes and textures. I want that my works make always the difference in terms of quality, price and investment. My collectors will be fully satisfied and 100% sure that there is no art deal better than mine. I will always challenge anyone to offer a better product for a better price than mine. Thanks a lot for your trust and respect" Fabio Coruzzi exhibited his art at galleries, museums, art fairs around the world. He is represented by galleries from America and Europe

THE INFORMAL GRAFFITI PROJECT "Informal Graffiti is a tiny drawing on the blank surface of my artistic universe. My graffiti is informal because does not follow the media, the format, the scale or the intention of traditional graffiti art. Informal graffiti is an attempt to use intellectual and material fragments of the hyper consumption culture (credit cards , aluminum cans, old pieces of wood, dirty old paper, etc) in order to decontextualize the traditional relationship between the viewer and the message. I look at Arte Povera philosophy as cultural inspiration , because it is the only art movement that challenged the establishment in terms of art, politics, economy, culture. Arte Povera’s ideas boost my sense of engagement to the surrounding world, where art practice becomes the main way to rebel, to disagree, to criticize, to reimagine, to reinvent. I reject the idea of using art to create social media phenomenons, because I personally make some art to survive and not to entertain" Fabio Coruzzi exhibited at galleries, museums and art fairs around the world. He is represented by American and European galleries
