About The Artwork

The painting is one out of ten made about hair and the spirituality of it. In one example of many, we can trace the idea back to the Old testament in the bible to Samson and Delilah. "Samson letting his hair grow was an oath to God. The deal was: as long as he don't cut it, he'll be powerful," "When Delilah had his hair cut off, she severed that oath, which made him weak and vulnerable" Hair is so often about power and a connection to our creator

VICTOR MORAWO (b. 2001) is a young contemporary impasto painter from Oyo state, south western Nigeria.
