About The Artwork

Once you've had to let go of something, you learn to hold close. Most grown up emotions are happy and sad at the same time. They come tinted with appreciation and sorrow. Until and unless you have pain, you won't carry the desire to hold onto something that's beautiful. Or unless you have empathy, you won't share with the world. Pain is often romanticised in artistic sense. But then again what is art if not creating or communicating through empathetic parts of yourself. This artwork is done on a Bockingford cream 300gsm paper using gouache.

I'm from Mumbai, India. Faces intrigue me. Most of my artworks are silhouette portraits using gouache. Each one of my artworks has a story to tell, an emotion to convey.
