This painting is from 2009, from my Cityscapes series where I was exploring boundary of representational and abstract as well as line between fantasy and realism. Art gives freedom to acknowledge our active role in perception and interpretation of the world around us and, therefore, remind of freedoms we can exercise in experiencing consciousness as creative witness of existence. Painted on wood, spaced to be floating from the wall creating subtle blue halo around the painting. D-ring installed at the back for hanging
