Mixed technique (oil, inks, acrylic resin) glued on wooden support Paul Klee said " art does not reproduce the visible but makes visible " this quote for me is an artistic end in itself. To be reborn from the ashes like this tree in spring is to take on a new existence after having been almost entirely destroyed. What a contrast between these spring colors and the charcoal black of the burnt trunk rising straight like an "i" and the only survivor. This work is rather optimistic but when we think of mega fires they still reveal our difficulty in thinking about global warming. work stuck on wood this work is sold laminated on a wooden panel (1 cm) and framed in a black American box.
