Human Transfiguration Print

This painting represents an abstract male face against a deep green background. I painted the eyes in such a way that they look completely transfigured, giving off their own inner light. The effect is that of an inner illumination that emerges from the face itself. The eyes in their inner vision merge with the outer one, creating a sort of continuum between the inner and outer world. The transfiguration of the face wants to represent a consciousness that goes beyond the physical appearance, as if external and internal merged into a single entity. The use of the green color as a background is intended to underline the organic nature of the figure represented, creating a connection between the inner energy emanating from the face and the energy of nature. Overall, the painting represents an experience in which the transfiguration of the face is a symbol of the connection between the inner world of the individual and the external world. It has a white lacquered wooden frame with glass. All my works are signed on the back and have the certificate of authenticity.
