About The Artwork

Original contemporary abstract palette knife colorful skyscape. Mixed media acrylic and texture on deep edge wooden support. Metallic colors enhance the painting due to changing light conditions, challenging for convential potos. Will do my best to provide images providing ideas for additional consideration. The palette knife accommodates definition and is my choice for the varying textures and styles required in presenting essential visual effects. The best artist grade materials are used from trusted sources to assure quality, protection and durability. The sides are painted and artwork is equipped with all necessary hardware to allow for immediate hanging, without the need for a special frame. Artwork is shipped with a signed certificate of authenticity, insured with a tracking number, securely insulated and packaged to accommodate conventional shipping conditions. Questions or concerns are most welcome.

My art career began as an understudy, twenty three years ago in Europe, following advanced studies in design, which led to about seven years of custom freelance work on subjects often requiring substantial adaptation. Consequently I consider myself to be mostly self-taught. With the opening of my first studio, fourteen years ago in the U.S., I continued custom work while expanding experimentation with the availability of modern materials. From the beginning my interests were to create unique artworks involving multiple subjects and styles, satisfying my long anticipated dreams. This experimentation continues today, creating new ideas, techniques, styles and diversity. I have participated in over thirty eight curated solo, group and guild exhibitions in nine countries, on three continents. My work has appeared in international art books and publications.  Donations of work and time have been made to charities and public instruction workshops. Liza Wheeler
