I started this painting in 2018 and finished in 2019. I wanted to paint it slowly, without drawings or preparatory studies, taking up a way of painting I had as a boy, that is, to start on the canvas simply in an improvised way, like a stream of consciousness. The result is very personal and totally unexpected, a diary page painted day after day. Questo quadro l'ho iniziato nel 2018 e finito nel 2019. Ho voluto dipingerlo lentamente, senza disegni o studi preparatori, riprendendo un modo di dipingere che avevo da ragazzo, ossia di iniziare sulla tela semplicemente in maniera improvvisata, come un flusso di coscienza. Il risultato è molto personale e totalmente inatteso, una pagina di diario dipinta giorno dopo giorno
