Introspection. I feel a special fascination for birds, my grandmother had a yellow canary that was her companion several of her last years of life. She spoke to him as one person and we respected her as such. She sang very nice and even chatted with her, I remember that she even felt that a certain authority emanated from her being. Their simple forms, their beautiful songs, their unpredictable volares are reduced to a small life that in its simplicity lies its beauty, they are precious. Thus, when I walk inside I find birds that stir inside the cage, stop and emancipate, fly free in unconsciousness making it clear that even in a cage there is freedom.

I started my career 7 years ago drawing humorous cartoons, I was attracted by the satire and the critical load of the medium, although over time I realized that the main subject of criticism was me, that is why my painting represents a journey of introspection where I constantly question myself who I am, why and how the medium determines me. When you grow up in a city as big as Mexico, you can see many things but the ones that strike me most are the splashes of color that sporadically sprout from the flowers that stand firm against the common gray of the buildings, so in my work You also find flowers and birds to which my grandmother inherited a great love.
