About The Artwork
This is the second canvas, of the series "Capsule Hotel dreams" of 6 oil canvas, in which I depict very stereotypical images of contemporary Japanese society. This one represents a salary man taking the last train. The subway station is Sakuragawa from Osaka. I made this canvas while living in Shanghai, before moving to Tokyo. This canvas has been exhibited 2 times in Japan, and one in Mexico City.
