This artwork represents my absolute lack of belief in love without freedom. I don't believe in the chains of emotions. I recognize that choice is the purest demonstration of love, its greatest expression. I value the love that is chosen every day, that recognizes imperfection, that lives with the frustration of the death of expectations, that values the little things. And this artwork represents all of this: being in its freest expression, choosing love above fears, above everything else. It is painted on aged books that are collected to be revived through art. Each of the books has a message that communicates with the message of the artwork, and it is composed of 6 books, each with a message related to the sense of the artwork: WHO - Is it a personal and subjective objective, or a natural function? - Liberation - Resolving imbalances and discriminations by establishing equality of rights and opportunities - A lot of flexibility - "If it pleases you, the hermit, may I come with you?" Coherence. It is part of the "Amortology" series, which deals with love in each of its facets. Love as behavior, as the things we do for others and for ourselves, "the act of love"; also as a starting point, as a space-time in which decisions are made based on love; this Amortology is also a place of arrival, a point at which you have transformed; and finally, it is the plot, the path that is traveled, the daily gestures, the passing of time. In this series, the books intertwine to tell a story through words that, together, form a story.
