Lumini is a dyptic These leaves in Mexico are known as "espadas" (swords, blades). I saw them in a gardening exhibition and gave me the sense of a barrier that were guarding something. I made my own interpretation of a fence of light that kept something special that has to be protected. I hope viewers make their own interpretation or try to answer the question what it's important for me to be guarded? I used many layers of thin acrylic painting to let the colors that are below to be seen and remarked some forms with chalk.
