Main Street, Castle Town Print

This painting came out of a visit to Castle Town, Montana, a ghost town left after the gold and silver rush at the turn of the 19th century. A desolate and eerie place, hidden away down a rural track and left abandoned since the early 20th century. The snowy weather made it feel particularly isolated and this work tries to capture some of that atmosphere.
