This Maple Leaf was created on a background that I’d previously done for an art challenge. I found the colour very fitting for an Autumn leaf and used one of my own photos as a reference.

Born and raised in northern Sweden, I moved to Norway in 1999. I now live with my daughter, and cat in the Norwegian mountains. I let my intuition guide my choices of subject matter and materials. My imagery is often inspired by mythology, folklore, and the Scandinavian nature. I paint in acrylics, watercolour and gouache and draw in pencil and coloured pencil.
