About The Artwork

young teenager I consult a biography of Leonardo da Vinci and discover his love for Mona Lisa. I fall in admiration for the man. this passion for the painter pursues me and my curiosity for Mona Lisa grows. I decide then I paint "My" Mona Lisa, She does not look like any other. I saw it at the same time but in Morocco. I want to know it; to understand her, but above all, to feel the passion of Leonard's Leonardo for this woman who will become famous all over the world. during the 20 days of creation I feel guided, a dialogue is established between her and me. I propose to compose and choose her traditional Amazigh costume, for each piece of the garment, each jewelry, and even the makeup she gives me her opinion . I am no longer in reality at this precise moment; my consciousness fades, we are in total connection and the result of my work surprises me. it surprises me more when an admirer leaves me this comment: "your Mona Lisa looks like Kahina", after a quick search on the portrait of Queen Kahina I am amazing; the costumes are almost similar !! I could not explain what happened during this artistic time, I felt transported, in another century, I was Leonardo in front of Mona Lisa and I felt a very strong sensation: his love?
