Money Hungry was inspired by the current crisis of C-19 wherein there's an element of greed, need and want of money to fuel the machine - capitalism. This piece of work can be viewed in too ways, one is the greed of people wanting money for their own gains. Secondly it can be interpreted as the need of money in these testy times of C-19 where people have lost their jobs and they are starving craving to have money. Austriker is often revered or demonised as an adjutant in the realm of art but he is merely documenting and expressing a candid view the world he lives in - the real world of the 99%ers.
