Currently on exhibit: “Mystery of the Park” - Algonquin Park Visitors Centre, Sept 28 - Oct 29, 2023. This is Mooz from my "Big Boy" series of expressionistic wildlife paintings. Mooz is the Algonquin and Ojibwe name for Moose. Of all the "Antler Beings" he is the most extraordinary. He is faster than a buffalo, the largest and more agile than a deer or an elk. This Mooz is headed to Algonquin Park (ie. the park of Group of Seven fame and paintings) to be on display in the visitors centre from Sept 28-October 29, 2023. The room views shown are for fine art prints, matted and framed. The original is painted on standard depth canvas, edges painted, wired and ready to hang or frame. Comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Canada
Instagram @KristinaMurrayArt | I am a Canadian artist and avid painter in both oils and acrylic, and I am based in Ottawa, Ontario. Growing up in rural Ontario gave me a deep affinity for wide open spaces, farms and fields, wildflowers, gardening, big skies and hiking in nature. I also travel around a lot so the scenic landscapes, eclectic urban scenes, country roads and my local heritage are the rooted in my art practice. My paintings stem from my appreciation, sense of peace and nostalgia that I get from my dedicated art practice. I love sharing and inspiring creativity in any form. I am training as certified Art Therapist and a proud Mom to a creative child. I like to keep my art fun -not overly complicated, using a painterly expressive style, splashes of colour and whimsical subjects are a few of the details in my work. My semi-abstract landscapes and floral paintings are uplifting to paint and I strive to translate that happiness in all my work.
