About The Artwork
Nightwalks are merely different by the absence of light from the view by daylight. It smells differently, the acoustics are different. Lines, flats, light and shadow form new elevations of well-known paths. Nocturnal sensations served as inspiration for the "Nightwalks" Series. Dramatic light on paths through the night, thunderstorm and lightning, the dark versus the bright, the blacks ruptured by the light. Ain't there always the tension between the two? This painting is painted on unstretched canvas, borders for framing / stretching are marked with tape. It ships in a tube.
