ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The rugged coast line of the Highlands can be clearly seen from Hopeman. This magical stretch of the world has a very distinct shape with the mountain of Morven being most prominent. The land all but disappears on a hazy day but the Northern Lights and rain squalls can be clearly seen throughout the year. This painting has been created over many sittings to capture the seemingly simple shading.
