About The Artwork
I was very inspired by Zipolite, a remote tropical beach off the coast of Oaxaca, Mexico. I painted it after i got back to the states from memory, using feelings about Zipolite to guide this painting rather than a photograph. There is no one way to hang this peice and i encourage all to hang it from every angle. In the lower right corner there is a pink moon so hang it up the other way and the moon is in the sky again! I also encourage you to hang this painting the long way- then it really gets abstracted!
