ABOUT THE ARTWORK
For me, painting is about trying to capture the wildness and drama of the color and the form - in the brushstroke itself. Capturing it on the surface of the painting will inevitably also mean having to tame it, to avoid the pure chaos - but it will always be a balancing act not to tame to a degree as to stifle the drama and turn it all into an operetta.
