About The Artwork

Among the sights of Pärnu that have survived since the Middle Ages, the so-called Tallinn Gate is worth noting. In fact, this is a preserved fragment of the former fortifications, after the elimination of which in the 19th century it was decided to preserve only the gate itself, a couple of bastions and the rampart. In the old days, the postal road leading to Tallinn began from here The Tallinn Gate in Pärnu was built in the 17th century. During the construction of the gate, the project of the famous fortifier E. Dahlberg was taken as a basis. The structure of the building is quite simple: in fact, it is an ordinary vaulted passage, to the outside of which two small passages adjoin. The facade from the city side ends with a triangular pediment. The external main facade was originally planned to be decorated more solemnly, however, due to the outbreak of the Northern War, it was not possible to complete the matter. Today, its segmented pediment is decorated with the embossed coat of arms of the city of Pärnu, which was installed during the restoration work in 1893. It is known that until 1710 the Tallinn Gate was named after Karl Gustav. The Tallinn Gate is one of those sights that no tourist who finds himself in Pärnu passes by.

My name is Leonid Vengerovsky, I am an artist and interior designer, I live and work in Estonia, in the city of Pärnu. I paint pictures on different topics and for me the most important thing is the mood. The mood that I convey through the paintings and the mood that arises in my viewers. Bright colors and my own intuition are my main principles of work. I really love painting and I can look at the paintings of great artists in world art galleries all day long. My biggest reward is to see my work in the interiors of my customers - in houses, apartments and offices. I am honored to be among the talented people on the saatchiart team. I closely follow the creativity of my colleagues and continue to learn from them, because there are no limits to perfection, new techniques and new trends appear. And there will always be people who are able to appreciate each new work. I have my own workshop in Pärnu. The office of my studio Natalie design is also located here. Visit my website www.artnataly.ee - write to me at artnataly@mail.ee, I will be very glad to meet new people and your impressions of my work
