I was recently asked, what's a woman's place? Patricia's place is pursuing a career that challenges her and loving it. Patricia's place is swirling a martini and savoring a filet mignon across from a debonaire date. Patricia's place is indulging in a saucy read on the beach. Patricia, like most women, is a multifaceted gem. I initially gained inspiration for my People Watching series working in advertising. I was entranced yet repelled by the glossy images in magazines. I created blind contour paintings, transforming sterile, perfect images into whimsical satire. People watching is one of my favorite pastimes and its namesake series has expanded to include travel, child and angel portraits. Wired to hang with a single nail. All edges painted red. No framing needed.
