Port Vittoriosa Malta Print

Last year I was in a creation camp in Malta. I descovered Malta with joy. The colors fascinated me. That yellow,that marvelous yellow that turned into red-orange at sunset delighted me and made me want to paint this composition. I had spent more than a year thinking at this work before putting ot on the canvas. I want the red to shine .Recently I found the solution with this red-oramge primer that I prepared myself and witch I paint all the xanvas before painting it. I am verry harpy with the result! Birgu(vittoriosa) is the oldest of an area in Malta referred to as The Three Cities (which also consist of Senglea and Cospicua) – three fortified cities built in very close proximity to each other around the Grand Harbour. It’s located right across the water from Valletta, facing Malta capital city’s Southern side.
