ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was inspired by the connection my twin sister and I have. Being a twin is belonging to a club from before birth. I wanted to express a playful moment we had and what we have between us. I hope viewers can connect to the feeling of longing of belonging. I chose oil paint because I love how oil can be so expressive and malleable. Oil expresses my emotions and especially the color blue echo's the feeling of longing.
