About The Artwork
The painting depicts an interrogated person, whose identity is partially hidden. It is inspired by the video footage of the fiancee of Michael Dunn who was sentenced to life without parole for the killing of 17-year-old Jordan Davis in Jacksonville, Florida. This work is about complicity and justification, but also about redemption.
