When a Dog or Pet dies, most people like to think they go to the Rainbow bridge. When my Dog Bulli died of Cancer last year and my other Dog Bailey was diagnosed with cancer a week later, I thought it would be a nice idea to think of them as on a Roadtrip to Dog Vegas instead of some lame Rainbow Bridge.Bailey is currently still going strong and after several operations is currently cancer free. 30% of the proceeds of this painting will be donated to the "Dierenambulance Gooi" who are a non profit organization and where a great help to us through these times. http://www.dierenambulance-gooivecht.nl/

I have been called artsy all my life and have always been drawing and sketching somewhat. But I suppose we have all been called talented by our relatives and friends, which basically doesn't mean shit. To me a painting or art in general has to tell a story. I like to paint things that are current issues to me, such as animal protection, climate change, politics etc. I do not consider myself a great artist technically, as i am still trying to find my way as to what medium helps me tell my story's best, most likely that is sketching and not painting. Maybe some people want to join me on my way.
