About The Artwork
Sailfish & Air is inspired on the urge to always be near the Ocean with nothing else then tropical blue water, the air and stunning wildlife. Sailfish catched by anglers are often photographed, but the exhausted animals never show their stunning colors they flash during the hunt for prey. The Flying Fish in all its beauty is as amazing as the predator that hunts it. My hope is that viewers can feel the wonder and admire the Ocean and the mystery of Sailfish as much as I do. The painting is studio oil on primed smooth wood: highest quality materials only. The painting is about 2 cm bigger on all sides then showed on this picture (technical crop limit) The painting should be positioned with the sailfish on eye-height for the best effect. The blue sky on the photo looks a little rough on computer screen but in reality its smooth and realistic.
